About Us

Finovate Rep Consults is a Finland-based accounting service company providing high-quality bookkeeping, financial reporting, and advisory services to small and medium-sized businesses in Finland. We leverage Odoo as our primary accounting and ERP platform to deliver accurate, real-time financial insights to our clients.

We are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper based in Nigeria or Ghana to join our remote team and help manage daily accounting tasks for our clients.


Role Overview

You will work remotely, handling day-to-day bookkeeping for multiple clients using Odoo Accounting. Your role will include transaction recording, reconciliations, invoice management, and preparation of financial reports. You will report directly to the Finnish accounting team.

Responsibilities

  • Record daily financial transactions (income, expenses, payments) in Odoo for multiple client accounts.
  • Perform bank and credit card reconciliations using Odoo's bank feed integration.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable – create invoices, track payments, follow up on overdue accounts.
  • Maintain the chart of accounts and ensure proper categorization per Finnish/IFRS standards.
  • Prepare monthly financial statements (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) from Odoo.
  • Assist with VAT reporting and month-end closing procedures.
  • Communicate with the Finland-based Accountant via Whatsapp/Email and attend weekly virtual check-ins.
  • Ensure data accuracy and compliance with internal deadlines.

Must Have

  • Bachelor Degree or Higher
  • 2–3 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience.
  • Good understanding of double-entry bookkeeping, reconciliations, and month-end close
  • Reliable internet connection and ability to work during Finnish business hours (UTC+2 / UTC+3) with some flexibility.
  • Previous experience with Odoo Invoicing, Expenses, or Purchase modules is a plus
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Highly creative and autonomous
  • Excellent written and spoken English.

  • Previous experience with Odoo Invoicing, Expenses, or Purchase modules is a plus
  • Familiarity with IFRS or global accounting practices.
  • Experience working remotely for an international company.
  • Passion for software products
